Comments on the litter:This entire litter was blackgrizzle and had lovely temperaments. Aqila was the only bitch and a real hit in an otherwise very good litter. A very wellbuilt front with a prominent forechest gave her a stability at high speed that salukis of today often lacks. Her movements at the trot was light and effortless with a hint of the much desired flowing. Maybe she could have been a bit smaller, but she was well within the limits of the breed. Her brother Awwal died young in an accident, but had from the beginning the right construction and good movements. Amir was another from this litter having an excellent forechest and the light, hovering movements. Still, he could have had better rear angulation. He has been used for breeding purposes by two other breeders. Afandi, who was very nice, had his grandmothers somewhat out-turned feets, but was in all other respects a good saluki.
